This is my birthdaypresent to Björn. Handsewn with waxed linen thread in grey wool with undyed linen lining. The biggest challenge was to sew 60 buttonholes for all the tinbuttons.
I have taken the inspiration mostly from medieval manuscript pictures. For example this fresco preserved in the church of Santa Caterina in Treviso. It dates back to around 1355 – 1358.
